Botox for wrinkles

Botox is a simple, nonsurgical, doctor administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows or crow lines in people of any age. The eternal dream of human being to remain young and beautiful forever has always been a motivating factor towards innovation and experimentation. This dream has been responsible for the increasing popularity of cosmetic surgery, leading to the sudden influx in the use of Botox. Botox is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those frown lines between the brows to form over time. The lines that appear between your brows actually result from muscle movement with the passage of time. . Like if you're angry or annoyed, for example, you knit your brows together. Underneath your skin, your facial muscles contract, cause a pleating of the overlying skin, and then, as anyone can see, you're frowning. After years of crinkling and wrinkling, those glabellar lines start to linger longer and can become more pronounced. For women, whose facial skin is typically more delicate, these lines may appear exaggerated and more permanent. Botox is the commercial trade name for Botulinum Toxin Type A. Botulinum Toxin is derived from the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum.
This is a 10-minute outdoor lunch time treatment- a few tiny injections-and within days there's a noticeable improvement in moderate to severe frown lines, which can last up to 4-6 months. However, maximum results are shown on the 14th day of treatment. Results may vary on individuals, depending on the severity of wrinkles and the strength of muscles treated.
After 6 months, the wrinkles won’t be worsened but their degree of appearance will be the same as it was before the treatment, because the effect of botolinium toxin waves off gradually in 4-6 months. Botox is very safe as it is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Don't plan for botox if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant and even if you are breastfeeding. Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you are suffering from any diseases that affect your nerves and muscles. Also tell the doctor about all the medications being taken before going in for botox treatment.
